Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions Regarding Billing & Usage

What happens if we reach our monthly event allocation?

To safeguard teams from unpredictable, runaway cloud bills, our edge gateway enforces hard quota caps by returning an HTTP 429 Too Many Requests response when an account exhausts its monthly event allocation. Requests resume automatically on the first day of the next billing cycle, or you can contact our engineering team to upgrade your tier instantly.

Do we need to install a proprietary agent daemon?

No. Axisforge Events is designed around standard HTTP/2 endpoints. You can emit telemetry directly from your applications using standard HTTP libraries in Python, Go, Node.js, or Java, or forward batches using lightweight open-source log forwarders like Vector or FluentBit.

How is European GDPR compliance guaranteed?

Our infrastructure is hosted strictly within Tier-3 facilities in Germany and the Netherlands. We sign formal Data Processing Agreements (DPA) with our enterprise customers, and event records are stored with AES-256 encryption at rest.

What is the maximum payload size for individual batches?

The edge ingestion gateway allows individual HTTP POST requests up to 512 KiB. For optimal throughput and minimal latency overhead, we recommend batching events in chunks of 50 to 500 records (approx. 50–250 KiB).

What payment methods are supported?

We accept standard corporate credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as automated SEPA Direct Debit and electronic bank transfer invoicing for European business entities with a valid VAT ID.
